Chorizo Starter


These tasty little sticks make a great starter, either by themselves or with a green salad




Whole Three Little Pigs chorizo sausage (Spicy or Mild – it’s up to you)

4 balls of buffalo mozzarella

4 beef tomatoes

Handful of fresh basil leaves

Salt and pepper

Extra virgin olive oil

Some cocktail sticks




  1. Remove the skin from the chorizo (ours is in a natural casing) and slice it.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into slices about half a centimeter thick.
  3. Slice the beef tomatoes – we like quite chunky slices – and then wash your basil leaves.
  4. Thread the ingredients onto a cocktail stick in turn for example basil leaf, tomato, mozzarella and then chorizo.
  5. Place it on a greased baking tray.
  6. Season well and drizzle with some of the oil.
  7. Place under a hot grill until the mozzarella is starting to melt.
  8. Remove the cocktail stick and serve
