Pasta with Three Little Pigs Salami/Chorizo and Cannellini beans




Enough pasta for 4 people

½ Three Little Pigs salami, skinned and sliced

1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes, plus ½ tin of water

2 tbsp butter

1 bouquet garni

1 x 400g tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed




  1. Cook the pasta in accordance with the instructions on packet.
  2. While it cooks, start making the sauce. Warm a pan and throw in the salami slices. Stir over a medium heat for a minute or two.
  3. Add the tomatoes and ½ tin of water.
  4. Add one tablespoon of the butter, then add the bouquet garni and the drained beans. Stir well, then leave it to simmer gently while the pasta finishes cooking.
  5. Before draining the pasta, take out and retain a little of the cooking water.
  6. Stir the drained pasta into the sauce, then remove the pan from the heat and stir in the remaining butter. Add in some of the reserved pasta cooking water if the sauce needs a little more moisture. Remove the bouquet garni before serving. Enjoy!
